What’s the Fastest, Safest, and Easiest way to lose weight in 2 weeks?

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

My instant weight gain is scary. I need some help from people with experience of fast weight lost, or heard true success stories.

You should combine diet and exercise for best and fast results.
Choose healthy foods you like and replace unhealthy ones you eat in a day with them. Drink lots of water. Stay away from fat and sugar. Dont eat after 7pm. Eat 5 small meals in day, including snacks, not 3 big ones. Eat grilled and boiled foods, not fried and fastfoods. Here is a sample diet plan;
Breakfast: Slices of tomatoes, a piece of cheese, 4 5 olives, 2 egg whites and green tea
Snack: nuts or fruits
Lunch: Salad
Snack again
Dinner: Grilled chicken, turkey or fish and boiled vegetables or salad
You should exercise for best, fast and permanent results. You can exercise at home easily with a good program. And support it with walkings or runnings. There is a good program which includes exercises and eating plan. It is most recommended one. Me and my friends use it. Take a look at it from http://www.diettipsandfitness.com/catego…
Good luck:)

How to lose fat on the stomach and sides?

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

How to lose fat on the stomach and sides (pelvic)
I run walk 4 to 5 miles a day. 4 days a week and I also do weight training , but nothing works
What can I do?

Forget about spot reducing a certain body part. It doesn’t work. A body part is too big because that is part of your body where you tend to store excess body fat. Resistance exercising will not decrease fat it an area … it will only build the muscle that sits under the fat. It is totally impossible to change fat into muscle. They are two separate tissues.

If you want to make a body part smaller then you have to decrease the amount of body fat stored at that area. To decrease body fat you need to do two things. One: change your diet; eating a healthier diet so that the amount of calories you take in each day is less than the amount of calories you burn each day during activities. And two: increase the amount of calories you are burning each day by increasing your cardiovascular exercise. Also, doing weight training exercises will help you build some muscle mass, which will help increase your resting metabolic rate, so you will burn more calories on a daily basis.

How much cardio should you do per week to lose body fat?

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

How many sessions per week & how long should each cardio session be? Also if you eat moderately sensible is cardio enough to lose body fat? Or would you have to go extreme on dieting?
To help you answer, Im: 26ys old, F, 5′ , 119lbs and 23% bf – not too concerned with weight but would like body fat to be closer to 20%
THANKS!!

-Yogurt
-at least a fruit for breakfast and lunch
-at least a a handful of veggies for lunch and dinner
-a glass of 6-8 oz. worth of milk or some form oh diary
-fish, chicken
or if you would say you have a normal american diet eat what you want but instead of 3-2 meals shoot for 4-5. You get lunch for work, eat half of it then the rest on a break or 3 hours later and that goes for breakfast too spilt that in half. The more smaller meals the less your body will feel hungry. Dinner should look like 3/4’s your plate with 1/3 of that veggies. If you do this you’ll find that you’ll gradually eat less and feel just as full. =)

your 26 so stretch! For every 15 mins of cardio 5 mins of stretching
And cardio is pointless if you don’t run for at least 45 minutes. 20% bf? You can just walk everyday for 45 minutes and you’ll be there in no time. But jogging since you’re probably a working woman, 3 times a week should be easy for you and your schedule.

How to loose weight fast without starving myself?

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

Everyone keeps telling me I need to stop doing it and stuff, but it makes me loose weight faster than anything else I’ve tried. I also purge sometimes if I feel like I’ve eaten too much. I know this is really unhealthy, so I’m looking for a better way that wont get me criticized.

i advise you to drink green tea 1-3 glasses per day is enough green tea speeds up your metabolism
drink lots and lots of water 8 glasses each day.
do not snack
do not eat 6 meals a day, try to only eat 3
if you are really hungry and you’ve had all your daily meals snack on fruits ( oranges, apples, bananas )
exercise more try and run for at least 30 minutes a day
get more active eg: instead of asking your mom to pass you the remote control get it your self it does count as extra exercise
get more sleep it prepares your body
stretch, yes it works and it doesn’t just help you lose weight it helps with you’re growing to make you a little taller
count your calories try to stay under the amount of 1000 calories per day
change you’re lifestyle it makes a difference
do not eat candy or chips eat more greens or protein bars
avoid fast food and cut out fried food tell you’re mom when she cooks you’re meal to oven cook you’re food do not fry it
chew gum because when you chew gum you do not pick at food for example if theres some chips in you’re cupboard you go to them a think good damn they look good then you would say no i cant pick at them because i dont wanna throw my gum away
do not eat after 6pm because before 6pm you can burn all you’re food off and if you eat after six it will lay on you’re stomach as you eat.
do not eat before you go to sleep
drink a glass of water before you go to sleep
drink plain hot kettle water because it speeds up you’re metabolism
do not weigh you’re self everyday because it torments you, weight you’re self once a week ( every Monday )
good luck!
you can saftley lose 2 to 3 lbs. a week!

The best exercise for fast weight loss?

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

I need to lose at least 8 pounds in two weeks. What’s the best exercise i can do in order to attain this? A detailed regimen will be a lot of help :) thanks!

I think running or swimming are great for aerobic fitness
and weight loss in the long term,
but with any exercise you might gain muscle and some weight before you actually lose any weight.

If I had to do that, I would probably eat less, but more often,
with smaller portions, eat more fruits and vegetables,
and less other stuff, no sweets, and run or walk once or twice a day.

The Most Overlooked Piece of the Weight Loss Puzzle

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

When it comes to losing weight most people can tell you the basics of the ways to burn fat. Everyone knows that eating healthy is a must. It is also not uncommon knowledge that you have to get in some sort of exercise. Weight and resistance training is also a common theme. But there is one piece of the weightloss puzzle that keeps getting overlooked. Especially in today’s age of nonstop schedules and constantly beeping communication devices. The most overlooked area of losing weight is quite simply rest. A lot of people just do not really understand the importance of getting the proper amount of sleep. In addition stress and getting rest throughout the day can play a hand in weightloss as well.

Not getting enough sleep can play havoc on your body. Studies have shown that a lack of sleep can contribute highly to overeating. One of the main reasons is that a lot of the bodies hormones are regulated by our sleep cycle.
Hormones are the chemicals that tell our brains how much we need to eat and when we are full. When our sleep cycle gets out of whack or we are not getting enough rest, these hormones get of course which can tend to cause us to overeat. Add in the fact that when we do not get enough sleep we can tend to be more cranky which can cause us to get frustrated and choose worse things to eat and we have a bad combination for weight loss.

Another issue that can come from not getting enough sleep is the fact that our bodies need rest to repair any hard work we have done in the gym. Weight training and other forms of exercise work by tearing our body down. Tearing the body down is only half of the equation in fitness. Once it is torn down by the workout we need sleep to repair that work and bring our body back to a more fit level before the work was done. If we only do the tearing down part (the workout) we are not doing what needs to be done to get in shape. The body can only take so much tearing down before we have to stop.

Another side to the rest issue is the amount of relaxation you afford yourself throughout the day. Stress is a roadblock to weight loss due to the hormones it can produce. You should try to balance that by taking time out to just unwind and relax. Turning off the cell phone and checking email is a great way to dial the stress back a notch. It will still be there when you return. Also, make sure you are getting at least 7 hours of sleep a night. Some people need more and some people need less so you will have to pay attention to your personal needs. But one thing is for sure, the more rest you get to balance the work you do the more success you will see in any workout or fitness program.

You Can Gain And Lose Weight With Law Of Attraction

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Most of you would probably be familiar with the best selling book “Think And Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. Many people have claimed that the book changed their thinking and have seen their personal wealth grow in abundance. If people can think and grow rich, then can people think and grow thin? Can thinking to be thin help you to lose weight or conversely, for thin people, help them to gain extra weight?

Ever since the released of Rhonda Byrne’s “The Secret” DVD and book in 2006, The Law of Attraction (LOA), which is the main theme of her work swept the world by storm. If you are unfamiliar with the law of attraction, then the simplistic definition of the law of attraction is that you attract to you what are in your dominant thoughts and what you are focused on. In other words, thoughts become things. That means that you get what you think and focused on.

Of course there are more to it than just merely wishful thinking and if you want to know more, the internet is full of articles on the application of law of attraction.

Experts in the law of attraction such as Bob Proctor, John Assaraf, John Demartini and some others who appeared in “The Secret” explained that recent breakthroughs in neuroscience, quantum physics, metaphysics along with the understanding mental laws, reveal why the “law of attraction” and “positive thinking” work regardless of whether you look at the theory from a metaphysical or a scientific point of view in a Larry King show. Oprah Winfrey also explored this subject several times in her TV programs.

Scientists have long known that your subconscious mind is completely neutral and impartial and it will carry out any instructions the conscious mind give to it. In other words, you can use the law of attraction to attract love, to lose or gain weight, attract wealth, quit smoking or whatever you desire.

Unfortunately, most if not all of us are still running negative programs we picked up from others as children when our subconscious minds were very open, receptive and impressionable, or which we have developed over the years as a result of repetition of our own negative thinking and life experiences.

Yes, many of you may say to me now that you have been thinking of losing weight, but is still getting fatter and fatter. You see, when you are thinking of losing weight, you are using your conscious mind, but what is your subconscious mind thinking? Let me list a few examples :-

a) I am too fat, so I need to lose weight – This thinking cancels out each other. Yes, you want to lose weight, but you are also thinking about being fat. The law of attraction does not react to whether you want it or do not want it, it just delivers to you what you are thinking and focused on.

b) My family members are fat, so I am genetically programed to be fat – I don’t need to explain this further. This is a self limiting thought and guess what? If you think you are fat, then you are. Period.

c) I wish to be thin – Now merely wishing is not good enough, the law of attraction will just entertain your wish. You will always be wishing.

d) It is difficult to lose or gain weight – Then you will never lose or gain weight because it will always be difficult for you to lose weight.

So when you do not lose or gain weight even if you have always wanted to, it could be because of your self limiting subconscious thoughts. Some of these limiting thoughts are so embedded in your subconscious mind that you are not even aware that they are there.

Our own thoughts, when repeated often enough are programed into our subconscious mind and most of the time we do not even know that they are there sabotaging us. These thoughts then become our beliefs, habits and automatic behavior.

To change your results, you must overwrite the negative programming and instill new positive ones into your subconscious mind. If you are getting more of the same or negative results in your life such as not being able to attract more wealth, good health or the body shape that you desire, then you have probably been unconsciously running old negative programs and reinforcing them with daily negative thought patterns.

How do we get rid of limiting beliefs and negative thoughts then?

There are many techniques you can use to get rid of limiting believes and negative thoughts such as using goal setting, positive affirmations, meditations and creative visualizations. I will not describe in detail how these methods work here as many books and articles about them. However, from personal experiences, the best method is using self hypnosis.

What is self hypnosis? You see, instead of spending alot of money for a hypnosis therapist to help you find out your self limiting negative thoughts (there may be thousands of them) in your subconscious mind and re-program new positive thoughts into it, you can now do it yourself through self hypnosis sessions through CDs or MP3s. This will save you a lot of money and time.

So if you want to gain or lose weight to get the bodyshape you want, change your negative beliefs and insert positive ones and by the law of attraction, you will begin to attract events, people, books, food, circumstances etc to help you get the bodyshape that you want. Believe it and see the magic unfurl before you.
