Losing weight really depends on your determination to do what’s nessesary. ediets could be a great guide for you, but it’s up to you to stick with it.

I have a book by Bill Phillips and it is great. "Body for Life" I believe it’s called; pick it up if you have a chance. Both my mom and I read it for tips. I went from 162 to 138 in 6 months (the healthy way) by reading his book and with Gilad Jankowicz exercise regimens.

I need to lose weight. I need to lose about around 50 or 60pds. I’m 31.

I am a member of Weight Watchers Online right now. But due to my health issues I can’t follow the diet properly. I have a painful bladder disorder IC. Along with that I have irritable bowel syndrome. So the fact that Weight Watchers focuses on high fiber foods it is just making my IBS worse. Wtih IC I can’t eat high acid foods so a lot of fruits are out. So are diet drinks. Plus I hate salad.

My OB/GYN suggested Weight Watchers Online last Nov. So far I’ve only lost 6pds.

So I am now looking into Ediets or Change One diet. What do you suggest?

I saw that Change One Diet offers a free week trial but I didn’t see one at ediets. I’d like to know what I am getting into before I sign up.

What do you all suggest? Please don’t say talk to your doctor first. My doctor told I need to lose weight and suggested Weight Watchers Online. I’d like to hear from people who are have tried Ediets or Change One diet.

I’ve been asking this for a few weeks now & am thinking of going ahead and just doing it today, but just wanna see if anyone at all has any opinions on eDiets Deliciously Yours. This is the program that delivers freshly prepared healthy meals right to your door. All you have to do is heat and eat. It’s pretty expensive and I don’t know if it’s gonna be a waste of money or not so I’d like to get some opinions on it please. Please only give opinions about eDiet Deliciously Yours if you’ve tried it. I’ve already heard not to try diets becuz they are fads and don’t work etc. so please don’t post any answers like that again. All I’d like to know is about the eDiets Deliciously Yours plan itself please. I’d like to know your experience with it and opinions on it. Is it worth it?.
No I’m not doing this program to lose weight. I’m a female 5′4 and I weigh 145 lbs. I’m not interested in losing weight, I want to do this because I just had a baby and I don’t have time anymore to make myself home cooked healthy meals so I usually just grab whatever and it’s usually something unhealthy. I know I’ll regret that later if I keep it up but I just don’t have time to eat healthy home cooked balanced meals anymore so the eDiets plan seems like a great option for me at this time. If I lose a few pounds in the process then that’ll be great, but like I said before, weight loss in not my objective.

Opinions will vary. You may feel it is worth it to you, someone else may not feel it was worth it to them.

My view is, if you are going to spend the money, then stick with the program. If they are supplying all your food, then only eat what they supply you and don’t "fudge" even the tiniest little bit…when you do that, the money spent easily becomes "not worth it". For the convenience, it may well be worth it, for those who can afford it. I KNOW I’d not have a weight problem if someone else was doing my cooking (healthy only) and doling out my portions…but how many of us can afford that (indefinitely)?

Learn to eat a healthy balanced diet, watch your calorie intake, and exercise regulary. Whether you try ediets or not, you need to make a lifestyle change to be healthy and keep off any pounds lost.
