Ways to do some quick weight loss without harming my body?

diets are quite difficult for me as my parents wont allow it
maybe there are a few little tips for me
nothing extreme
im working on doing some running on a machine at the gym
but is there anything i can do at home that is effective
my fat it on my stomach and thighs mostly
can you help?

Be honest Michele said it. Although for some, it’s easier said than done.

Start eating better, eat less food in general and NO sugar crap, less fat and less alcohol (it’s hard, I know)

Then walk/run more. Going a couple of miles, just walk it or jog I mean the weather is picking up now.

Drink water, tea, maybe (take into account the sugar you use) and avoid most other drinks like energy ones or whatever.

Also try and exericse in the morning, before breakfast … so maybe … get up/shower and go out for 30-45 minutes for a brisk walk then come back and eat – I hear this burns fat from the bodys stored energy 3 times faster.

Don’t brother with indoor machines like bikes and tredmils they are soo boring, waste electric and expensive. I see almost no reason for them (unless it was bad weather)

Get yourself an mp3 player/ipod for your walks and they are fun themselves.

With all the commercial diets being promoted with mega advertising budgets and trendy looking fads which come and go literally by the week, how is one supposed to keep your head together, and make the right choice of a quick weight loss program, that will be successful for you, and keep the fat off forever?

The answer is pretty simple: do not fall for these come and go diets, and do not allow the million dollar ad campaigns to fool you into believing their claims. Be a wise and innovating individual, and go the one and only way that is right. The one and only way that will assure that you will not go through hunger pains and hardships, and that will ensure guaranteed weight loss, day by day until you reach your goal. The only way which is sure to take the weight off, and to keep it off forever.

The quick weight loss program that I am talking about, consists of two steps.

The first step, and this is not for everyone, is to go on a detox fast for a few days. There are uninformed people that condemn fasts. The one valid point that these people have, is that a fast should not be approached with weight loss as the sole outcome. It is a fact that this is the fastest way to lose weight, but you have to be intelligent about it.

The main reasons for you to go on a fast, should be to cleanse your body from harmful substances, and to rid yourself from unhealthy eating habits. The respect that you will gain for your body, will give you more than just a reason and a will, to start eating more healthy after the fast.

Famous religious leaders, artists and scholars such as Jesus, Mohammed, Mahatma Gandhi and Mark Twain were regular fasters, and so were Socrates and Plato, who fasted regularly for 10 days at a time. Pythagoras was known to fast for up to 40 days. These are only a few names, from a myriad of known fasters through history.

The most important is not the type of fast you decide on, but to educate yourself on what you are taking on, by preparing yourself for it, and by knowing what to expect, how long would be appropriate for you to stay on the fast, and how to come out of the fast.

The second step (the first step if you would rather skip the fasting), is to simply work out a calorie controlled diet for yourself. By knowing how many calories your body needs to sustain itself, it becomes second nature to create a calorie deficit tailor made for your personal circumstances and weight loss goals. By being aware of the numbers, you will have total control over how fast or slow you lose that weight.

It is crucial for you to beware of not going too low on your calories. And once again, there is a simple answer. Instead of consuming too little calories, get more active and simply burn more. This will allow you to eat more, and still reach the same goals.

A quick weight loss program that is safe and healthy will then firstly be calorie controlled, it will secondly consist of more regular but smaller meals during the day, and thirdly a plan for regular activity. Your diet will be balanced, and consist of appropriate amounts of lean proteins, fibrous and starchy carbohydrates, and healthy fats. Your body needs all of these to burn fat effectively.

All you need in a quick weight loss program is the right mindset and a calorie controlled meal plan on paper. That is really it. Weight loss is guaranteed, and a maintenance plan for life as at your fingertips. Exercise is of course optional, but highly recommended, and one of your greatest allies in your efforts. You will be able to eat more, and more of what you like to eat.

is this a good diet for quick weight loss?

breakfast:oatmeal 100
snack: apple 100
lunch: yogurt 100
cheese 50
snack: half sandwich: 150
dinner: veggie stirfry: 200
total:700

if i stick to this or something along these lines will i be able to lose like 4 lbs by next sat? its winter formal and im 5′4" and currently about 110 lbs and i want to be 106? if this isnt good can someone tell me what will work?

Nope this won’t work actually…

You need 1,200 calories at the very least because the way the body works is that if you don’t eat enough calories your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to every calorie it gets so you won’t lose any weight. I just went to a nutritionist and she actually told me that my 1,200 calorie plan was still to low, and suggested i bring it up to 1,800…
It sounds like good food to eat you just need to up the calories.
But if you want to lose some weight before a dance the best way to do it is to stick to a good meal plan, cut out salts because you will retain water from that, and drink a ton of water. Same as calories, when you body is not getting enough water it will hang on to whatever you get causing a retention of water weight, which is what you’ll be able to shed before the dance.
I know it sounds strange but drink as much water as you possibly can until the day before the dance.
Also, 40 mins of decently intense cardio a day. 4 pounds will be gone really quick i promise!

I have a wedding to go to at the weekend and need to lose a few pounds to fit into my bridesmaid dress.

change your diet to eating yogurt in the morning and for lunch, or even a peice of toast and some fresh fruit. Stay away from any preserved things, eat good portions for dinner, and EXCERSIZE!!! I do crunches(50),push-ups(20), and I run around(ok, I jog around the block), I also do karate, but that hasn’t helped any

I have a friend that mentioned a 3 day diet where you eat hard boiled eggs, raw green vegetables, an orange, and either beef or chicken everyday for 3 days. Where can I find more details and an explanation of how much, etc???

Diet Schedule:

1. Commit to consuming 4 – 6 small meals and snacks everyday.

2. To succeed, you must plan ahead by packing your foods the night before. Thus, you should always have fresh and low-fat foods around.

3. Keep it simple. Don’t get too caught up on the specifics or your diet. Start by simply just counting calories.

4. Eat your foods slower.

5. Make healthier food selections like fruits, vegetables, whole grain cereals, and beans, low-fat or nonfat dairy products, low fat meats, fish and skinless poultry.

6. Avoid foods that are high in fat and calories.

7. Avoid foods that are high in sugars such as pastries, candy bars, pies and candy.

8. Use a variety of fruits and vegetables in your nutrition plan. Start by trying to eat 5 total vegetable and fruit servings every single day.

Exercise:
daily Exercise is necessary.

Jogging, Swimming and 15 minutes walking will be enough.

What are some good, quick weight loss exercises!?

I’m 5 foot 9 inches & I weight 168lbs! I don’t look that bad, but i have some extra fat on my stomach! What are some good execises that can help me lose alot of weight in 2 1/2 Months?
I need some manely for Abs, Butt, Theighs & Upper Body! Thanks

The best exercise that works on abs, butt and thighs at the same time is as follows:
Lie down with your hands (the palm area:) under your lower back, so as to support your lower back.

Now lift your legs a few inches away from the ground. Hold this posture for a few seconds and then gently come back to normal position. Repeat this for a few times every day.

You will feel the tension and some pain in your thighs, butt and of course abs.

Slowly increase the time and/or the number of times you do this exercise.

Drink lots of water (at least 8-10 glasses a day) and do some cardio. Always helpful when you want to work out ur tummy..
