Are There Any Effective Weight Loss Solutions – Know These 8 Simple and Effective Tips

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

Trying to find the right weight loss regimen can be frustrating to say the very least. You listen to all of the opinions and suggestions from your family members, friends and coworkers. How are you honestly supposed to find effective weight loss solutions with everyone telling you how you should lose the weight?

Then it gets even worse, you begin searching online late at might to find out what you should do and how to go about losing the weight. After you do this, more than likely you have been completely confused or you are frustrated beyond your imagination. Hang on, by the end of this article you will have a better understanding of how to lose the weight.

The first thing you need to know is you have to be burning more calories a day than you consume. This basically causes your body to begin burning the stored fat for energy. So, how do you do this? This is the easy part. You need to do a few different things.

1. Get exercise. You should start off slowly and gradually increase your intensity. Start off by power walking or jogging for about 30 minutes a day for 3 or 4 days a week.

2. On the days that you are not walking or jogging you can go swimming for a half an hour or so. This will keep your body from becoming in tuned with the exercise and leave you on a plateau of weight loss.

3. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Basically, in any way you can increase your physical activity you should.

4. Increasing the amount of water you drink daily is another way you can burn calories. Actually, the water will flush your system out and at the same time it will boost your metabolic rate which will increase the metabolisms productivity.

Most people not only want to lose weight but they also want to tone their muscles at the same time. If this is something you want to do you will need to work out more often and slightly more intensely. Every other day you should target specific areas of your body to tone and increase muscle mass. Here are some tips to help you build muscle mass and tone your body.

5. You will need a lot of energy in order to build muscle mass and tone your body. To give your body the additional source of energy you should eat more carbs. However, you should not overindulge yourself with the carbs. Only eat as much as you need to in order to have the energy to turn the fat into muscle.

6. Increase the amount of foods you consume with antioxidants.

7. Drink green tea. At least 2 8 ounce glasses a day.

8. Consult your physician about herbal remedies that are safe for you to incorporate into your diet.

Effective weight loss solutions are actually going to be a combination of different strategies. Not everyone responds the same way to diet and exercise programs, therefore you will need to try different things to determine what will work for you. Nothing is going to work overnight, so be patient and consistent in the regimen you choose. In time you will reach a weight that better suits you.

Do you have any weight loss tips for me?

Monday, March 8th, 2010

Ok, so i am 5′3 and 125 lbs, i play softball and basketball and have a practice/game almost every day. i am only looking to lose a little weight around the stomach area. my legs and arms are muscle and that’s pretty much it, but i wanna lose some weight in the stomach area. starting today i am eatng no fatty substances and going for a 1 mile jog. any more tips?

Eat less, burn more. Do this and you will lose weight,., but you must stick to it or nothing will happen.

I need any weight loss tips please – pills etc?

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

I want to really tone up – I am 52kg and 5"6 (but muscle weighs more than fat and i have like no muscle).

Im thinking of doing diet pills and maybe just eating only fish and salad and stuff (will still have soy milk to get calcium and a few pieces of wholegrain bread a day).

I have pale skin so i always look fatter than i am. Im also thinking of buying some pills called fat blaster than are appetite suppressants but dont know if there are any better ones out there.

Advice? Any weight loss tips appreciated

52kgs is not ‘fat’ ???

If you want to tone up… do at least 100 sit ups through the day, try at least 20 at a time, 5 reps. Walk at least 5 klms a day.. fast paced, and curl light weights, using both arms.

Seafood and salads are OK, don’t forget to drink lots of water. Water can suppress an appetite, and is better than some pill full of amphetamines.

Can I have some weight loss tips for a 16 year old?

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

I’m 16,6′2,and weigh 245.I want to lose about 16 in a few months so can I have some tips on how many calories am i suppose to burn a day and what foods i should eat?
Okay great tips so far,but I really need to know how many calories am I suppose to burn and eat!

Honestly sweetie all you have to do is exercise and stick to it. You can’t be lazy and lose weight, trust me-you wont lose anything that way. Try running and doing sit ups and push ups things of that nature. I know its cliche but the old method still does work. This may not mean much to you but i weighed 170 pounds (i’m a female and to us that’s considered fat) I started going to the gym (running, sit ups, crunches, bicycles) consistently (5 times a day) and lost 20 pounds in a month and a half. I feel great and now i can’t live without going to the gym because i’m scared i’ll gain a pound! LOL seriously it’s hard at first because you feel like you can barely do a crunch or a push up but if you push yourself you will succeed! and don’t forget to eat healthier, cut out the sweets and sodas ok? let me know if theres any progress a month from now. Have fun!

Lose Weight With These 17 Hot Tips
Some $30 billion dollars is spent on weight loss each year as people desperately search and mistakenly believe ‘the answer’ to looking and feeling good is losing weight.
This may be a popular belief but it is totally false as the majority of the big weight loss spenders are losing their money, not their weight.

The majority of people who try to lose weight use very unhealthy methods that have devastating effects on the metabolism (the body’s engine). In fact, 98% of those people who do manage to lose some weight soon gain it back and end up with a damaged metabolism which makes future weight loss efforts near impossible.

There is a simple concept to lose weight and look good. It happens when you do the right thing and take responsibility for your health and improve it first and foremost. You cannot lose weight to improve your health – you must improve your health and have a healthy metabolism in order to lose weight.

Don’t keep doing what you are doing if it is not working. Here are 17 hot tips that will work better than anything you can purchase:

1. Have a strength training exercise program firmly in place.
2. Perform 1-2 interval training sessions each week.
3. Hire a fitness professional to teach you how to exercise intensely enough to really make a difference to your metabolism.
4. Do not do any long, slow, steady state activity (walking, jogging, cycling etc). These are recreational activities that are fine as part of an active lifestyle but can never replace a proper exercise program.
5. Separate interval training and strength training days.
6. Eat 5-7 times each day.
7. Have at least 20 grams of protein at each meal.
8. Make up the balance of your meals with lots of cooked and raw vegetables.
9. Eat whole natural unprocessed foods.
10. Space your small meals out every 2-3 hours throughout the day.
11. Eat within an hour of waking.
12. Plan your meals, shop and prepare them in advance and take them with you wherever you go so you are not tempted to eat something that will not help you reach your goals.
13. Plan your workouts in advance and schedule them on your planner or calendar.
14. Treat these workout times as important appointments and keep your promises to yourself.
15. List 10-20 benefits that you will gain from becoming stronger, fitter and slimmer and make them your health/fitness/weight loss goals. These goals will then become much more personal and meaningful.
16. Go over these benefits as often as you need to. This may be daily, weekly or monthly.
17. You can’t manage your health until you can manage your self which involves managing your time, your energy, your workouts, and your eating plan.

Follow these 17 hot tips and consider yourself successful as this approach to fitness and fat loss will give you an advantage over 95% of the diets and weight loss programs available. Yes you will lose fat but you will also improve your overall health which in turn will improve the quality of your life.

Does anyone have any great weight loss tips?

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

I plan to start running and do the normal leg, stomach and arm exercises. I dont have any at home equipment besides some weights. I want to work my way up to running 3 miles a day. Im the type of person where I get full very fast, and not even after eating much but then I am hungry again 2 hours later. This is why I tend to be munching on food all day. Does anyone have any tips on great exercises or foods to eat that helped you that may help me reach my goal?

Hello,

I also need to eat frequently. What I normally do is stay away from dairy products- that has helped a ton! For calcium, I just take a supplement or eat broccoli (has lots of calcium). Brown rice is super good- gives me lots of longer lasting energy and fills me up more so than bread, pasta or white rice.

I’m going to give you 3 weight loss tips today.

The most important thing when doing a weight loss program is your nutrition. So the first thing you will want to do is calculate how much you are eating now, and then improve the quality of the food you are eating. If you’re still not losing weight, then start to decrease your calories by 10-20 percent per day. That is the simplest nutrition tip you will ever get.

The second weight loss tip is to include strength training exercise. That may sound odd for some of you who do not associate strength training with weight loss, but I guarantee you that it will help you lose bodyfat.

Finally, the third weightloss tip is to use interval training instead of regular cardio training. Slow cardio training is really a waste of time because it takes up so much time, but doesn’t give you a lot of results. Whereas interval training can be done in half the amount of time and burns more belly fat as proven in a research study compared to regular cardio training.

So those are the 3 best weight loss tips that anyone can give you.

What are some weight loss tips you know of?

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

I want to lose some weight over the next few months, what are some tips to help that?
I drink 64 oz. of water every day, exercise for 30 min. to an hour and a half every day, and I’ve been trying to eat better by cutting out junk food. I’m a really picky eater, also, so what are some foods I can eat?

In any weight-loss plan, you need to set an achievable goal. They need to be clear and realistic. A good goal to start with would be to lose 2 pounds a week for the first 5 weeks and then 1 pound a week after that.
Try this: fill half of your plate with green vegetables, one-quarter with protein rich food and one-quarter with whole grains. Instead of eating three times a day, you can then eat 6 times a day, but in smaller portions. This will help you in boosting your metabolism. A side benefit of this is that you will not need to go for that fast snack in between.
Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and don’t forget to eat at least three servings of fish a week.

I’m not looking for quick weight loss I’m looking to lose 20-30 pounds of fat and gain a bit of muscles over the next 6-8 months do you have any tips for at home exercises and maybe some food I should eat to help.

A great way for to lose weight is to eat naked in front of a mirror. Restaurants will almost always throw you out before you can eat too much.
