What is it that prevents consultants from getting on the buzz and making those calls? Dread. There is the dread of making a mistake. Dread of not knowing what to say. Dread of making a fool of yourself. All of these are manifestations of the dread of rejection. The question really is; what if they say no? Rejection is the dread that prevents us from picking up the buzz and making the calls you need to make. How to deal with rejection is the difference linking accomplishment and failure in your business.

Getting a no can be traumatizing. Your positive thoughts can turn to negatives in the time it takes for someone to say no to you. You reckon things like “this will never work.” “What was I thinking getting involved with this?” “This is stupid – I’m going to quit.” All of these are self-deflating, ego blasting thoughts.

To get past the feelings of rejection from “the no” look at what “the no” is doing to your life. Let’s say you have two bookings on your calendar and you choose to get on the buzz and get more bookings. The first person you call says no. The second person you call says no. Even the third person you call says no. What has changed in your life? Did you have two bookings before you made the calls? Do you still have two bookings? Do the people in your life who mean the most to you stop loving you because someone said no to you? Is your house going to fall down around you because someone said no? What has really changed in your life? Nothing. By realizing someone saying no to you changes nothing in your reality makes a noteworthy difference in hearing no.

What no means is you need to be working smarter. Someone saying no to you is not a rejection of you, but rather, a rejection of the offer. To work smarter consider how you are presenting yourself over the buzz. Are you coming from a mindset of “I need bookings” or a mindset of “this is what I can do for you” when you make your calls? By changing your mindset and focusing on what you can do for the person you’re calling you’ll find your buzz has suddenly gone on a diet as you collect yes after yes to booking.

    Would a doctor tell me over the buzz if they prescribe diet pills?I took Phentermine a few years ago to jump start my weight loss plot and had fantastic results (15 lbs in one month). But, I went to a weight loss clinic that was very expensive and I got the vibe they they didn’t care too much about your overall health (they just wanted your money). I have since had a baby, and packed on the pounds during my pregnancy, so I want to start back on Phentermine, only this time under medical supervision. Problem is, most doctors wont prescribe weight loss pills, no matter how overweight you are. But, there are a few who will. My question is, can I call around and question if they prescribe diet pills before taking time off work and paying a co-pay? Would they tell me over the buzz? I have a BMI of 30, so observably I qualify. FYI- If you are going to tell me not to take diet pills, don’t bother. I’m not one of those who are looking for a "miracle pill", I take it as directed and follow all the guidelines to reaching my goal.

    If the doctor is willing to prescribe it then I reckon he will tell you that over the buzz. Doubtless,most of the time you will hear make an appointment to see me or something like that. But I reckon if you find a doctor who would prescribe it,he will tell you over the buzz.References :
