    If you keep your protein intake 2 grams per kilogram of bodyweight, yet tune down the fat and carb intake a little bit and do more cardio. Then you will still be able to build muscle (though not as fast) and shed fat. I am in the process of doing just that and eventhough I’m not fat, I’m planning it to take 4-6 months cus I’m going slow and steady. Slow and steady will ensure my body won’t ‘eat’ my muscle tissue.

Maybe it is harder to make huge muscle gains while losing fat But, I have lost 40lbs in 6 months and all my basic strength exercises (bench, squat, deads etc) have went up in weight. Therefore, I am obviously losing fat and getting stronger thus, gaining muscle. You don’t get stronger without gaining muscle.
