Return to working … Return to working out while doing cardio. DON’T worry about your carbs. Just eat a bit less of a well balanced meal. THEN be consistent.

STEVE! Thanks for … STEVE! Thanks for this video and thanks for everything but now I have a question and I need YOU to answer it. I was always skinny in my life. Then I started going to gym. I was bulking for 6 months and gained weight, muscles and some stout. I haven’t been exercising for 2 months now, and I dont know what to do. I didnt gain enough muscle and I have enough stout that I dont feel comfortable about. WHAT SHOULD I DO? Im thinking about cutting carbs to minimum with enough protein. Cardio 2-3/week. HELP

    Steve-

    I can’t … Steve-

I can’t believe people are being so nasty to you when you’re just telling them what you’ve learned thru experience!! I wish you were my Biology teacher in high school…LOLI would’ve learned this stuff so much earlier. So many people are misinformed.!
Anyway, I referenced the Body Performance Channel in my blog and talked about your videos! I recommended my co-workers to your site as well.

so basicly i need … so basicly i need to consume a lot more proteins then carbs and stout?

so if i eat just very lean meant and vegitables with excersice i can lose body stout lacking the loss of muscle?

  7. keyscoob says:

Brushfour. can you … Brushfour. can you check out the “foods that make you stout” video and tell me if my response to an ignorant dumbass was right?

    -Josh

  8. keyscoob says:

    Brushfour:

    Would … Brushfour:

Would you agree push ups are fantastic at the end of the workout? I reckon Steve said he adds them in at the end of his chest workout, but I could be incorrect.

    -Josh

  9. brushfour says:

Whatever you gains … Whatever you gains you get from pushups will not stick around for long. Heavy iron weight training will develop your pushup power. Pushups will NOT develop absolute strength to any noteworthy degree and will not help you much with incline or bench press. Jack Lalanne owned and operated an iron gym for many years. I do both pushup and heavy chest training within the same week. I would not develop my total program around my pushups. The foundation is iron work. It requires way more muscle fiber.

  10. keyscoob says:

I’d like to join in … I’d like to join in here! Look at marines…look at navy seals…look at Jack Lalanne..look at Bruce Lee. Push ups are one of their primary exerises. There are many ways to intensify push ups (one arm, dive bombers plyo, etc.) Of course, you must do thousands to gain any mass or advanced versions, which is too hard for most people, so weighted chest exercises would be better for them.

  11. brushfour says:

To perform pushups … To perform pushups will only require only a certain amount of muscle fiber recruitment….and no more. I reckon I’ve done 4 million pushups in my life. I don’t count on them to do that much for me, and in the larger picture…they really don’t. You will NOT erect signifcant or even reasonable muscle mass with pushups. If you’re in the process of bringing up the rear weight, a certain amount of whatever muscle you do place on is in danger of being lost to a diet that might be too severe. Skip P90X.

  12. BodyPerformanceTV says:

Any challenging … Any challenging activity will erect muscle WITHOUT peroper diet. And P90X can only challenge your body so much with living room exercises thus limiting muscle stress and therefore growth.

  13. mindeddy says:

Right, which is … Right, which is the only reason I took notice to your grazing blow of P90x. Those DVDs are simply one of many designed for a “wide” audience that happened to be marketed well. 300lb benching is not marketable except to a very small audience. Regardless, saying P90x “will NOT erect you noteworthy muscle” is exactly incorrect, and you support that by realizing “challenging” is very different for different people. ANY challenging activiy, as I said…will erect muscle with genteel diet.

  14. BodyPerformanceTV says:

BUT what is ” … BUT what is “Challenging?” To you it might be push-ups which are achievable with P90X. To me it might be a 300 lb bench press which is not achievable with P90X.

  15. mindeddy says:

Incorrect. Anything … Incorrect. Anything that challenges your muscle (with a genteel diet) will erect muscle. “Noteworthy” is in the eye of the insecure. LOL. You must be a gym rat.

  16. cokburn625 says:

p90x will NOT erect … p90x will NOT erect you noteworthy muscle, maybe if you’re a complete beginner and don’t have any to commence with… it is excellent to burn stout even if

  17. mindeddy says:

This smurf is so … This smurf is so terrible at getting any points across. He takes simple concepts and the ‘niche’ considerations and makes such a complicated presentation. Listening to “gym rats” will just confuse you. Buy a excellent excellent on Amazon or the P90x program.

  18. augsauce says:

not neccesarily. If … not neccesarily. If you do a small cardio session such as 10-15 minutes on an elliptical you can boost your metabolism lacking burning all your calories. now youre right if it is a large cardio session such as 45 minutes because then you would have burned off majority of your energy in your body causing any extra activity after lacking any energy intake to be more harm than excellent.

  19. notmyselfusee says:

from my experience … from my experience it doesnt matter. It matters that you do it. If you have to do it before so that you dont burn your muscles out and not do cardio then do it then. If you have to break it up into 20 before and 20 after then do that.

  20. brushfour says:

You should do your … You should do your cardio on the following day. Never before your lifts.

  21. Louisbass0017 says:

Hey I have a … Hey I have a question.. I’m just wondering If I have to do cardio before or after my workout?

  22. mrballa23 says:

Fluffysalt – eat … Fluffysalt – eat canned tuna fish in water and eat no salt crackers you know the ones in the white box with navy blue writting and eat 1 tuna with 5 or 6 crakcers or a small bit mor withe every meal but eat it 5 or 6 times a day I bet with in a 1 month you would lose bodyfat all that flab would be gone but drink lots and lots of water with every meal you have you will see excellent things happend with your body

  23. FliiBoyJOe23 says:

this nigga is … this nigga is fliiguy fur dayzzzzz

  24. fluffysalt says:

One thing that I … One thing that I despise is that I can’t figure out anything by weighing myself. I have stout on my abdomen and some “man boobs” but my arms and shoulders are really pretty tones because I lift at least 3x a week. But my ab stout doesn’t go, even even if my combined cardio is doubtless about 2.000 calories a week.
