Does anyone know how Medifast oatmeal and eggs compares to fat/ sugar free oatmeal or real eggs?

I am just starting the medifast plan and I am hoping to cut the cost a bit. Has anyone else already made these comparisons? Thank you!
oatmeal is oatmeal, no difference there. But the medifast plan uses egg substitutes, basically these are egg whites with yellow food coloring added, no yolk as that is where the fat and cholesterol are found.
