How to Lose Fat After the Holidays Without Surgery or Dangerous Pills
Want to know what I believe is the number#1 reason people have a hard time keeping up with their new year’s weight loss resolutions? It’s quite simple. FAR too much plotting the perfect diet! I’ve got NEWS for you folks: There is NO perfect weight loss plot. There are ONLY programs that work and those that don’t. (And of course – the duty of the dieter to follow through!)
But Sadly, Here is Where So MANY of my friends, family and readers fail….
Over plotting. Analysis paralysis. Weighing, measuring and MICRO MANAGING every last calorie on document…..and then doing nothing with the program you picked once you’ve profoundly researched it. Signal familiar? We’ve ALL been there, right? Here is my simple 2 step remedy. It’s worked GREAT for me, and will do the same for you as well.
Step #1: Pick a Path
Yes, you NEED to pick a diet that works. But once you find one that fits your needs, simply STOP looking, and start the program. (We recommend and endorse Medifast for this very reason!) Trying to find the larger, better deal is NOT the answer to your weight loss problems, over-eating is!
Step #2: Visualize Your “New” Body
I know, I know….sounds too new agey, right? Trust me, it’s NOT and it’s worked wonders for me…and for thousands of other smart men and women. Picture what you look like in your perfect body. What does like look like? What kinds of things will you do? How do people look at your – your husband, kids or co-workers? Get a FIRM and clear picture of what your life FEELS like in this gorgeous space, open your eyes and make it a reality. ( I did this EVERY day for weeks…trust me, it works GREAT!)
Now, just make it happen. You have the tools. The motivation. And the knowledge that life is going to look (and feel!) so much sweeter in a small time from right now! No more procrastinating. Go out and make it happen!
