My brother who is 61 has lost about 60 pounds over the last 4 months (Medifast). Is this too much too fast?

He was diagnosed with pre-diabetes and has had high blood pressure and cholestrol for about 10 years. He says he feels tired all the time, even with the weight loss. I think this weight loss was much too rapid but he claims his doc is ok with it. He looks great but I am very concerned about the rate at which he lost this and the fact that he is tired. Should he consult another doctor?

maybe he have very slow metabloism
i think some people just luck
but it is weird @ this age ,, did he starve him self ??
and men usualy lose weight faster than woman
