I need to lose weight?

I’m 14, 5’11" and 174 lbs. I always had some issues with my body, but I always figured everyone did. I really didn’t think I was fat. However, I was watching Americas next top model a few weeks ago and saw a plus size model talking about how she was size 10. I’m a size 11. I always knew if I wanted to be a model Id have to lose some weight, but I couldn’t beleive I could be plus size. So I went to check my BMI and if I’m correct I am offcially overweight. That really freaks me out. I need to lose a lot of weight and want to know the quickest/most effective ways to do it. By the way, I run distance track afterschool, however, it will be done on Tuesday, and pretty soon Ill have to run on my own.

1. Be committed.
do not look for the fastest solution because you will inevitably be disappointed. Loosing weight is not a fast process and if it is then you are doing something unhealthy. The best thing to do is do the things you already know about: eat healthy, exercise, focus on your food when you eat (no eating and doing activities). When you eat your supposed to be focused on eating so you can feel your stomach. If your distracted its not going to be able to tell you your done eating. Keep doing track and running etc. Be active every day (I think the minimum is 30 minutes of being active every day).

    join a gym its really fun i use to weigh over 165 pounds and now i weigh 140 its cool and you meet new people and have someone really close to you go with you like if you have siblings a favorite cousin anyone. good luck and don’t worry a lot of people have gone through it.
