Question by Sunflower: Is it right that a person with hypothyroidism (under active thyroid) cannot lose weight?
I have an under active thyroid, and want to lose 70 pounds. But I have heard that this would be impossible. Is that right, or not? And if it isn’t – what can a person in that situation do to lose weight?

I am taking thyroid tablets, by the way.
